Foot Locker Celebrates Return of Basketball On Twitch

With the return of basketball, Foot Locker is inviting fans to tune into Twitch to celebrate, showcase, and share their love of basketball using #ForTheLove. The digital experience will bring basketball fans and sneakerheads together by celebrating the game and watch the stream live on Twitch.

The intersection between Twitch and sports in today’s climate has been a way to unite and excite sports fans (beyond e-sports) around the world.

From August 22 – August 24 (Kobe Day), you can head to Foot Locker’s Instagram or Twitter @footlocker and share why you love basketball, using #ForTheLove, for a chance to be part of the digital experience.

Foot Locker will project UGC (Twitter and IG) content from fans using #ForTheLove onto a court in Downtown LA. The court is designed by digital artist and photographer Temi Coker with basketball inspired art that will be digitally projected onto the court during the activation.

To watch Digital Experience on Twitch the court projections will be livestreamed on Foot Locker’s Twitch channel from 8:30pm-11:30pm PST/ 11:30pm-1:30am.
