The 2020 election will be THE biggest cultural moment of the year. 14 million new voters have become eligible to vote. As part of Unilever’s I’M The Vote program, AXE is teamed up with When We All Vote, and AXE Ambassador Russell Westbrook to support voter registration and engagement. The brand utilized its creative partnerships to support registering, education around suppression & mail-in voting by creating nationally relevant & shareable content – led by Bloody Osiris, co- produced by Russell with a team of creatives including Kenny KnoxNick GiassiDonte Colley, Efrangeliz MedinaandSalice Rose.

With more than 14 million new voters becoming eligible to vote this year, AXE is setting out to inform and incentivize early voting among Gen Z. The plan is to help educate Gen Z guys on voter registration and mail-in-voting through informative, shareable content.

To further increase voter participation, AXE is partnering with community impact organization HUSTLERS GUILD, which focuses on education in under resourced neighborhoods. Together, AXE and HUSTLERS GUILD will supply 2,500 households, in Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Detroit, NYC, DC, Miami, Charlotte, Birmingham, and Houston, with early voting toolkits and checklists for voting on Election Day (Nov 3). Whether voting early, in-person or by mail, these toolkits will equip households with the information to make their voices heard.
