This year New York Fashion Week will have a Latin Flavor when Grammy-winning producer Emilio Estefan joins Consuelo Vanderbilt‘s trailblazing social network, SohoMuse, to present the groundbreaking show “Latin Ignition – The Magic of Art.”

On September 8th, hundreds of notable attendees will gather at Manhattan’s landmark Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum to witness the incredible platform along with Estefan Enterprises, Inc. present the thrilling work of designers Alvin Valley, Laura Garcia, Nabys Vielman, and Cesar Galindo.

The collections will hit the runway in the hallow halls of the art institute with featured performances from Los Rabanes and DJ Hex Hector.

The grand talents of all involved will showcase a movement that highlights the work of some of the most prolific Latino artisans in the world today. And, to add to the profound experience, the producers will take nearly unheard-of measures to appropriately make sure that each worker – not just designers and models, but also behind the scenes hair and make-up artists are financially compensated for the show. Highlighting a deep appreciation for the art world and fashion industry, Estefan and Consuelo are making waves during NYFW that will be positively felt around the planet that dazzle with much-needed levels of inclusivity.

Last year SohoMuse produced “Ignite the Runway,” which featured fashion, music, art, and tech succinctly woven into a tapestry of visual eye candy. Participating fashion designers included Victor de Souza, In Earnest by Byron Lars & Sheila Gray, Celestino by Sergio Guadarrama & Kade Johnson, Argenis and Manuel Tiscareno.
