Next Wednesday, January 20th marks the beginning of a new era. How should it sound?  Raedio, the audio everywhere label founded by Benoni Tagoe and Issa Rae;  along with D-Nice, and in partnership with the Presidential Inauguration Committee, have curated the Official Biden Harris Inauguration playlist.

Keeping with the inauguration’s theme “America United,” this playlist represents the diversity of our nation, and our strength and resilience as we look forward to new leadership and a new era in America.

The carefully curated playlist is comprised of 46 songs, a nod to the 46th President Elect and Vice President Elect of the United States, designed to evoke joy and symbolize new beginnings.

The collection spans a wide range of musical talent and genres representing the inclusive and diverse nature of this administration, and a unifying moment for the country. Anitta is featured on the list along with Major Lazer with their hit song ‘Make it Hot.’ Other artists include  Dua Lipa, Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Vampire Weekend, SZA, and even Led Zeppelin. The playlist highlights new and innovative ways for Americans to participate and enjoy the Inauguration from the safety of their homes.

The inaugural playlist will launch on Spotify and be featured in New Music Friday, Apple Music, Tidal, and Amazon Music Friday, and a special mix of the playlist can be found exclusively on SoundCloud.

According to Raedio’s president Benoni Tagoe, “As a brand that is founded on the principle of being an audio-everywhere company, we are honored to create the official playlist for the historic inauguration of President Elect Joe Biden Vice President Elect Kamala Harris. We know that music has the power to bring people together, and after a year of national challenges and division, we hope this collection serves as an indication of a new beginning, positive change and a reminder that music of all types is a common language.”

Tony Allen, CEO of the Presidential Inauguration Committee adds, “During a tumultuous year that has kept so many loved ones apart, music has been a consistent vehicle that has kept us connected. Whether you are a country soul, a jazz enthusiast, a hip hop head, a classical sort, or just love that old-time rock and roll, music clarifies, inspires, unites, and heals. Today we are excited to share President-elect Biden’s and Vice-President Elect Harris’ official inaugural playlist with the nation, created in partnership with Raedio and D-Nice. These songs and artists reflect the relentless spirit and rich diversity of America. They are the score to a new chapter and will help bring people together as the Biden-Harris Administration begins its important work to unite our country.”

Launched in 2019, Raedio serves artists and creators at the highest level as an “audio everywhere company,” operating as the home to a dynamic roster of talent. Raedio extends a platform across media to align acts with film and television projects, commercials, podcasts, and beyond.
