Japanese Getaway in the Heart of the Parisian Golden Triangle

The latest addition to the Black Code Group, Kinugawa Matignon stays true to the Japanese and Parisian spirit of its “elder sibling,” Kinugawa Vendôme. The latter, an iconic Japanese gastronomy establishment in Paris open for over 30 years, was acquired in 2012 by the Black Code Group, which gave it a rebirth in a setting designed by architects Gilles & Boissier.

For this new location, situated just steps away from the Rond Point des Champs Elysées, the Black Code Group, also owner of Parisian restaurants Orient Extrême and Yoko, renews its collaboration with the duo of decorators. One can also rediscover Kinugawa’s signature dishes that have made its reputation… the richness of Black Cod with miso, the subtlety of beef tataki with ponzu sauce, and the astonishing sweetness of soft-shell crab harumaki.
