Perrier Launches Limited-Edition Día de los Muertos Inspired Can

This month, Perrier is launching its first-ever limited-edition offering inspired by Día de Los Muertos, featuring the iconic sugar skull associated with the Mexican holiday celebrating loved ones who have passed.

Leading up to the holiday, the brand is also collaborating with Mexican and Latinx bartenders at local bars across the country to create Día de los Muertos inspired cocktails. Now you can enjoy a recipe from renowned Mexican-American mixologist Erick Castro (@thehungrybartender), featuring the classic bubbles of Perrier infused with bold blackberry flavor.

As part of the overall celebration, Perrier has committed support to The Hispanic Heritage Foundation and United Farm Workers – two organizations who work to empower members of the Latinx community.

Perrier Día de los Muertos new limited edition can features the brand’s original carbonated mineral water, infused with bold blackberry flavor, with 0 calories or 0 sweeteners. Perrier Día de los Muertos is now available at Target. A 10-can fridge pack of 8.45 fluid ounce cans will be available in a with the suggested retail price of $6.89.

Erick Castro, creator of the cocktail,  has been honing his mixology craft for over 10 years, running cocktail programs that have earned a place on some of the nation’s most coveted lists, including Esquire’s Best Bars in America, Food & Wine’s “World’s Top Bars” and countless nominations at the prestigious Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards in New Orleans. He is currently the proprietor of Polite ProvisionsBoilermaker and Raised by Wolves. He also hosts the award-winning Bartender at Large podcast, where he speaks with some of the greatest talents in the bar industry about craft cocktails and more.

  • .75oz Lime
  • .75oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 Blackberries
  • 2 Jalapeño Slices
