With autumnal ingredients such as  apple cider, cinnamon, hot chocolate and pumpkin spice, these cocktails by NYC mixologist Peter Ruppert (Lucien, Short Stories NYC) will keep you nice and toasty well into the winter months. For those who are hosting socially distant gatherings, these drinks are sure to impress your guests with a rich and sweet flavor profile.

FALL COCKTAILS

PAPA WASSAIL (above)

1 1⁄2 oz Don Papa 7YR

3oz Apple Cider

1⁄2 oz Cherry Stomp (concentrated Cherry Juice)

1⁄4 oz Cinnamon Syrup*

Garnish with Cinnamon stick

Serve with Stroopwafel

*Simple Syrup with Cinnamon: made by boiling water with cinnamon sticks then

combining equal parts sugar and water stirred creating a simple syrup

DON CAFÉ

1 1⁄2 oz Don Papa 7YR

3oz Grady’s Cold Brew Coffee (Hot)

3oz Water

1⁄2 oz Mr. Black

3 drops Hazelnut extract

Serve with Stroopwafel

COCOA CLASSIC

1 1⁄2 oz Don Papa 7YR

4oz Milo Hot Chocolate (3:1 Coconut Milk (3 parts) to Milo malted

chocolate powder (1 part) – heated and fully dissolved

2 drops Pandan Essence

Top with powdered sugar or dollop of whip cream & coffee beans

Serve with Stroopwafel

GARDEN VARIETY

1 1⁄2 oz Don Papa 7YR

3oz Chai concentrate

3oz Water

3 drops Pumpkin Spice Syrup

Dollop of Whip Cream x sprinkle of cinnamon

Serve with Stroop Waffle

22ml Red Dragon Fruit

22ml Lime

15ml Simple syrup

TIKI

45ml DP10

22ml Velvet Falernum

30ml Pineapple juice

15ml Lime juice

15ml Blue Curacao
