Echo Look has arrived. This is is a first-of-its kind Echo focused on style. It features a hands-free depth-sensing camera with built-in LED lighting and computer vision-based background blur to make your outfits pop. Plus, with Echo Look Alexa acts as a personal style assistant helping you always look your best.

In addition to all of the features already in place including Style Check, Collections, and more, there are now three new features. Customers who download the latest version of the app can:

  1. Let Echo Look suggest a new favorite piece to pair with items they already own. Here’s how it works:
    1. Once you’ve shared your photos with Amazon fashion specialists, take a Daily Look in which you are wearing a top and bottom (rather than a dress).
    2. We’ll identify items that would pair well with the top and bottom in your Look, combining machine learning algorithms with advice from fashion specialists.
    3. Within a day, you will get recommendations including tops that would pair well with the bottoms, and bottoms that would pair well with the top in your Daily Look. The recommendations will show up in the home screen of your app and in the “Details” view of the Look. All of the items are shoppable on Amazon.com – just tap on the photo.
    4. Customers have always loved using Style Check to get a second opinion on which of two outfits looks best. With this new feature, Echo Look goes a step further, offering personalized style suggestions on items that will pair well with items you already own, allowing you to get even more out of your closet.

  2. “Heart” items you love to add them to your Echo Look Hearts List in your Amazon account.
  3. Sort your Daily Looks by color. Just click the Filter button in the Looks folder to see all of the colors represented in your current Daily Looks. Choose the color(s) you want to sort by and voila! The app will show you all of the looks that contain your selection
