Celebrate National Taco Day with 1800 Silver Cocktails!

Sunday, October 4th is National Taco Day, and tequila-based drinks are by far the best pairing for tacos for any cocktail enthusiast. Whichever way observers of National Taco Day are celebrating, these 1800 Silver tequila cocktails are sure to pair as the perfect complement to the classic Mexican dish.

1800 Berry Sencillo (above)

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz. agave nectar
  • 5 blackberries

Directions: Combine all ingredients with ice in a mixing tin and shake hard for 15 seconds. Dirty pour into a rocks glass with crushed ice and garnish with lime wheels.

1800 Purses Passion

  • 2 oz. 1800 Silver
  • 1.25 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 oz. passion fruit juice
  • ½ oz. simple syrup

Directions: Add a pinch of nutmeg into a mixing tin before combining all ingredients with ice and shaking hard for 15 seconds. Pour into a Collins glass with ice, rimmed with sugar and salt. Garnish with a long lemon peel.

1800 Cool

  • 1 oz. 1800 Silver
  • ½ oz. cucumber juice
  • ½ oz. lemon juice
  • ¼ oz. simple syrup

Directions: Combine all ingredients with ice in a mixing tin and shake hard for 10 seconds. Pour into a flute glass, top with Champagne and garnish with a long swirled cucumber peel.
