Skateboarder Paul Rodriguez, Photographer Estevan Oriol, and Musician Girl Ultra celebrated Day of the Dead with Espolòn TequilaThe three well-known game-changers of Mexican descent participated in a photoshoot with esteemed photographer Oriol as well as a video shoot, showcasing exactly how they enjoy the holiday and honor their Mexican heritage.

Further, Rodriguez and Girl Ultra took inspiration from Espolòn and wrote literary calaveras of their own, addressing division and music industry standards, respectively.

Additionally, the brand created the Espolòn Marigold Margarita, the perfect cocktail any celebration. This cocktail showcases the perfect blend of spicy seasonal flavors to enjoy while celebrating with your loved ones. Espolòn, at its heart, is a tribute to Mexican culture that believes in game-changing creativity. The premium tequila is also available for purchase on drizly.com.

As Paul Rodriguez puts it, “Death has a strong presence in Mexican culture. I choose to look at it in a positive perspective; it reminds me to live every day to my fullest. I like sipping on some Espolòn when reflecting on how far I’ve come, how my life has turned out now, and where I want to go in the future.”

According to Estevan Oriol, “When I drink tequila, I either drink it to the memory of people that we love that passed away, or we are drinking to celebrate good times. To my mom and to my homies – rest in peace.”

Girl Ultra says, “Us Mexicans find irony in death. The way I like to celebrate the Day of the Dead – it’s a very intimate situation. The way that tequila relates to Día de Los Muertos to me, tequila smells of the warmth of how us Mexicans are.”
