“GENIUS” starring Antonio Banderas as Pablo Picasso Premieres

TONIGHT, April 24 at 9/8C on National Geographic, is the two episode (back to back) premiere of season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series, “GENIUS,” starring Antonio Banderas as Pablo Picasso. After tonight’s premiere, the series will broadcast every Tuesday at 10/9C.

As one of the 20th century’s most influential and celebrated artists, Pablo Picasso imagined and interpreted the world in totally new and unorthodox ways, reinventing our perception of creativity in the process. Starring Banderas in the title role, the second season of National Geographic’s 10-part, Emmy-nominated global event series, GENIUS, explores how the Spanish-born artist’s passionate nature and relentless creative drive were inextricably linked to his personal life, which included tumultuous marriages, numerous affairs and constantly shifting political and personal alliances.

GENIUS is executive produced by Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.
