Hendrick’s Gin & Milagro Tequila Winter Warmers

Offering an unexpected yet delicious drinking experience, these winter warmer recipes are perfect to enjoy during the colder months. From Milagro’s Spiced Hot Chocolate to Hendrick’s Mulled Harvest Cider we bring you a handful of cocktails to heat up the season.

Milagro Spiced Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 parts Milagro Anejo
  • 3 parts taza guajillo chili chocolate
  • Heavy cream
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • Chocolate Shavings

Preparation:

  • Pour all ingredients into a mug and stir. Top with whipped cream and chili chocolate shavings. The Milagro Anejo Spiced Hot Chocolate brings a vibrant flavor to a classic drink.

Milagro Hot Toddy
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 parts Milagro Anejo
  • 1 part agave nectar
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole anise star
  • 4 parts boiling water
  • 1 lemon

Preparation:

  • Combine agave nectar, spices and Milagro Añejo in a heat-resistant snifter or mug. Add the boiling water. Squeeze the lemon, drop it in, and stir until agave nectar has melted. The Milagro Anejo Hot Toddy highlights the smooth and agave-forward taste of the tequila in a warm delicious cocktail.

Hendrick’s Gin Hot Spiced Apple
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • 5 parts Spiced Apple Juice (2 cloves, 2 crushed cardamom, 2 star anise, 2 crushed juniper berries, peel of 1 orange)
  • Apple and Nutmeg to Garnish

Preparation:

  • Simmer Hendrick’s Gin, apple juice and spices in a saucepan. Serve in a teacup and garnish with three slices of apple and a dusting of nutmeg. Hendrick’s Hot Spice Apple highlights the spirit’s underlying notes of juniper, caraway and coriander, offering drinkers a warm and flavorful cocktail.

Hendrick’s Gin Mulled Harvest Cider
Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • 1/4 part Honey
  • 2 parts Apple Cider
  • 2 parts Spicy Ginger Tea
  • Orange Twist and Cinnamon Stick to Garnish

Preparation:

  • Gently heat the first 3 ingredients in a saucepan then add 2 parts spicy ginger tea. Serve warm in a tankard or teacup and garnish with an orange twist and cinnamon stick.
