In honor of Nelson Mandela Day (July 18th), AriZona Iced Tea and the Long Walk to Freedom Foundation, an organization created by Mandela and his family to continue his legacy, are calling on AriZona’s fans to commit 67 minutes to an act of service in the lead up to Mandela Day.  As a thank you for participating, AriZona will reward five fans with a year supply of AriZona Iced Tea.

Nelson Mandela Day is an international day of service honoring the legacy of Nelson Mandela through volunteering and community service. Taking place on his birthday, Mandela Day calls on global citizens to commit 67 minutes, honoring Mandela’s 67-year fight for social justice, to fight poverty and promote peace, reconciliation and cultural diversity.

Last year, AriZona introduced African Rooibos Red Tea to its lineup of 99¢ Big Cans, bringing the national drink of South Africa to the United States. AriZona Rooibos Red Tea celebrates the Long Walk to Freedom Foundation and its efforts to continue the message of the great Nelson Mandela.

AriZona continues to honor the message of the Long Walk to Freedom Foundation by calling on fans to volunteer from July 13th through Nelson Mandela Day.  To recognize the volunteer work, AriZona will award 5 lucky fans with a year supply of AriZona Iced Tea.
