TIDAL Delivers ‘Back To School’ Music Playlists With All-New Artist Commentary

As part of its Back to School: 101 playlisting hub, a curated collection of playlists offering hours’ worth of music history and knowledge, TIDAL is releasing new commentary each week from different musicians in specific subgenres. The artists offer direct POV on their hits, the genre as whole, and other interesting insights for listeners to learn about.

This week, fans can enjoy a wide range of historic genres and music, such as one of the most popular in the world, K-pop, feel the blend of reggae, rock and soul with Lovers Rock 101 and Janet Kay’s new commentary, listen to the evolution of Spanish R&B and hear from one of its rising stars Girl Ultra, or groove to the longstanding growth of jazz music in Hard Bop and Postbop 101 with words from one of the most influential saxophonists and composers in the industry, Kenny Garret.
