Additionally, in celebration of the diverse Latinx identity, Unilever is partnering with media company BESE for their art gallery showcase of work celebrating the many faces of today’s American youth. There, Bidot and Herrera were on hand to inspire attendees to embrace their own unique form of self-expression and share what moves them. We spoke to Herrera who shared his top grooming tricks of the trade.

Herrera, is known as Red or Redb15, and has his own YouTube channel.

HOMBRE: How did your collaboration with Unilever come about?
Mario Herrera: They reached out to me, and honestly, I’m very honored to be a part of the #QueTeMueve campaign. This is the first time I’ve partnered with a brand in this way and to this potential, so to be hand-picked by them as a partner means a lot to me. With Axe and Dove Men+Care, it was like “yes this is something I use on a daily basis,” and I’m excited to share with my followers.”

H: Tell us about your daily grooming routine, which products do you use and why?
MH: I either use Axe Styling Gel or the Styling Paste, more specifically Axe Mess Look Hair Paste. I’ve found that, from all the other ones, that’s the one that works best with me. I have very thick hair, so I need something that will literally comb this hair down. And the other ones I like to use are Axe Gold Wash & Style Instant Control Shampoo and Dove Men + Care Body and Face Wash. Both of them have really good scents and especially the shampoo, it’s very easy on the hair and it doesn’t dry out your scalp.

H: What were the key factors in achieving success in your field, Que te mueve a ti?
MH: What moves me personally is my wife, my family, and my friends. Just getting inspired by them and their hard work and what they are doing on a day to day basis gets me up in the morning and makes me want to be a better person. I own a company, so for me being able to get inspired by them and being able to inspire my coworkers and my employees is a very important thing to me.

H: What is the importance of this campaign, and of Unilever brands targeting the Latinx community?
MH: What really motivated me to partner with the #QueTeMueve campaign is that it recognizes the diversity of passion points and identities within Latinx communities. No matter what we do, we want to be our best selves, which includes looking & feeling our best. My passions are gaming, my YouTube Channel, and feeling my best because they all work together to inspire those around me. I love that #QueTeMueve is not only celebrating my passions, but also recognizing how the support of my family and community moves me.
